Squaw Corn

12 slices bacon
2 med onions
3 (24 oz) cans whole kernel corn
salt and pepper

Dice bacon and onion and fry together until brown. Add corn and heat.

This is an old recipe that I grew up with. I was a bit surprised to learn that this was an actual recipe and not something the uncle threw together in a pinch. We used this for a meal when we were in the outdoors.
