3½ T flour
½ c milk
½ c shortening
½ c sugar
½ t salt
½ t vanilla
1½ c powdered sugar
Gradually blend milk into flour. Cook about 10 minutes or to a
very thick paste. Stir as it scorches easily. Cool to lukewarm.
Meanwhile cream shortening, sugar and salt. Add paste, beat until
fluffy. Fold in vanilla and add powdered sugar.
